 Welcome to JCU AccessAbility Services, this registration form is the initial step to connect with AccessAbility Services.

AccessAbility Services provides students with a documented disability, illness and health conditions (either temporary or permanent) with assistance and support to help them with their studies.

AccessAbility Services works with academics and professional staff to ensure JCU can put in place appropriate reasonable adjustments in line with the requirements under the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) and the Disability Standards for Education (2015).

  • I am aware my personal information is being collected by the AccessAbility Services team on behalf of JCU for the primary purpose/s of providing AccessAbility-related services and academic adjustments. Failure to provide this information may result in the Service not being able to provide a full range of services or the University to provide adjustments to support me during my studies. 

  • I am aware my  personal information will only be used for the primary purpose for which it is collected and disclosed only to the following persons or organisations as required:
         - JCU employees who require the information to properly carry out their duties, which may include Course Coordinators, Examinations and Placement Coordinators if required.
         -Department of Education and Training as part of the regular statistics collection of recorded disability type as recorded on eStudent.
